Class Styles
Power Yoga
Expect heat in our power classes! Both externally from infared heating panels to internally-created from breath to movement connection and dynamic sequences. Our power classes include music that supports your energy. You can expect to leave this class feeling balanced, mind, body and soul.
Vibe
Illuminate’s signature class!
Yogis—this class is the shhhhhhhh...
Rhythmic music. Low lighting. Kinda slow. Kinda challenging. Kinda moody. Vibe 60 is a great way to let go of the day and focus on your flow.
It’s vibe tribe. IYKYK.
Yin
Yin is a dream. This practice trains the connective tissue and fascia by tension and compression. Poses are held to 3-5 minutes. Expect a quieter environment, cooler temperature, and plenty of props.
We can't wait for you to experience it.
Bare Bones Yoga
No mic. No music. Reduced heat.
Just breath and movement.
Rise
Our first class of the day! Expect 60 minutes of an awakening, refreshing, feel good heated flow to start your day off right.
What is Power Yoga?
Baron Baptiste’s Five Pillars of Power Yoga Include:
- Breath
- Gaze
- Heat
- Flow
- Core Engagement
Illuminate's power classes follow the Baptiste arc to leave you feeling strong, balanced, and blissfully exhausted.llu
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin trains the connective tissue and fascia rather than muscles. Connective tissue is like plastic and takes more time than muscles to become pliable. What we love about Yin:
- Poses are held for approximately 3-5 minutes
- The goal is safe sensation
- Key components are time, gravity, and active propping
- A practice of quiet, stillness, and self observation
